Hello!

It’s so nice to see you here!

I’m Lucy and my favourite things are exploring the countryside, gazing at the sea and cuddling animals – especially my gorgeous pup, Ludo! I have always loved writing and when I was little I was often found tucked away in a den writing lists, songs and stories. As a grown up, I still love writing. I have written stories about all sorts of things from magical mermaids to stinky dung beetles.

My own children, and the children I work with, are an endless source of inspiration. Children have the most fantastic imaginations and often say brilliant things that I want to turn into a story. I also get plenty of ideas when I’m out in nature. For example, I might find a little hole in tree and wonder who lives there. Could it be a fairy? Perhaps an owl? What are they like? What do they do for fun? I always have more ideas than I have time to write them down.

My first book is coming out in June 2027 and I can’t wait for you to read it!
